Tennis take place Wednesday afternoons at various club or school venues around Christchurch. Some games may take place at Nga Pua Wai Sports Hub, Augustine Drive, Wigram.

Games start 3.30pm. Finish times are hard to predict as depends on length of games and whether singles and doubles are played. Four players per team. Premier and Division 1 and 2 matches consist of four singles and two doubles games. Division 3 matches consist of two doubles games only. Self umpiring is required.
鈥嬧�嬧�嬧�嬧�嬧�嬧�婼tudents will be allowed to choose their own team, but we may add other students so they do not miss out on playing.
If you do not have a full team or anyone you would like to be with, we will endeavour to place you in a team.
In the past, we have struggled to get enough students to make up a team so talk to your friends and see if they are keen to play.鈥嬧�嬧�嬧�嬧�嬧�嬧��
If for some reason, there is not enough players for a team to be entered into the competition, students will receive a refund. If a student withdraws once the team has been entered into the competition, a refund of sports fees will be at the discretion of the Sports Department and an administration fee may be applied.
If sports fees are owing from previous years, these will need to be cleared before playing sport in 2026.
Requirements: Year 9 and 10 will play in PE uniform and Year 11-13 will be issued with a uniform. Tennis racquets and sports shoes will be required. You will need to arrange your own transport home.
Cost: Fee $65 - includes transport to the venue.
Training: The school courts are available at lunchtimes for practices.

Canterbury Senior Tennis Championships: (Singles and Doubles) at Wilding Park, Christchurch - Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th February.
Please register if you are interested in playing in this Tournament. Entries close Monday 9th February. Students will require supervision and transport.
